Cheree's Peppermint Slice

INGREDIENTS
3 x 35g Nestle Peppermint Crisp bars
250g packet of sweet plain biscuits
395g tin of sweetened condensed milk
ICING
200g dark or milk cooking chocolate, broken into cubes
1 tablespoon butter
METHOD
In a food processor crush biscuits and peppermint crisp bars together. Add condensed milk and then press into a slice and store container or slice pan.
In a medium size microwave safe glass bowl melt chocolate and butter on medium power (50%) for 30 seconds bursts until melted and smooth. Spread over slice. Refrigerate and serve.
TIP
You can also roll teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls and roll in coconut or dip in melted chocolate.
My friend Cheree makes this slice. Cheree is an amazing wife, friend,and mother to 6 beautiful adult children and nana to two gorgeous grandbabies. She is also famous for this slice. What I love most about it is the fact you press the base straight into a Tupperware “ Slice and Store” container. Spread over the chocolate icing put the lid on the container and leave it to set in the fridge. When you are about to leave home, pull the container straight out of the fridge or freezer and then head off to your afternoon tea. Super simple!
