Sultana Slice

This slice is an oldie but a goodie. Very simple to whip up and you will have all the ingredients in your pantry and fridge. Great with a cuppa for morning or afternoon tea.

INGREDIENTS

125g butter

½ cup caster sugar

1 tspn vanilla essence

2 eggs

½ cup self-raising flour

1 ½ cups sultanas

METHOD

Bake at 180ËšC/160ËšC fan-forced.

Grease and line a slice pan with baking paper.

Beat butter and sugar with vanilla then eggs one at a time.

Stir in flour and sultanas.

Press into a tray.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Cool, cut into fingers.
